Author Gail Meath’s historical romance novel is about a free-spirited Comanche princess, who discovers a posse of settlers slaughtering her tribe and she’s captured, beaten and left for dead at a remote farm. Revenge is foremost on her mind when she awakens and she keeps a mistrusting eye on Colton, the Texas Ranger who rescued her, and his family as they nurse her back to health. As her terrifying memories unfurl and her heart is pulled farther away from her beloved Lone Wolf, neither she nor Colton are aware that the ruthless Comanche chief is on a bloody rampage searching for her.
You prefer to watch (1) a sunrise OR (2) a sunset.?
Both are beautiful, of course, but I love the sunrise as it means a new day, new excitement, new beginnings. While most people love the colors of Fall, I love Spring the most and for the same reasons, a fresh start.
Very good reasons! You prefer (1) to eat a home-cooked meal with family and friends OR (2) to eat in a big-name restaurant.
I am and always have been a homebody and I love to cook. I owned a small local breakfast diner for a few years and did all the prep and cooking. My husband laughs because to this day, I cook in massive amounts even though it’s just the two of us now.
I think it’s much harder to cook small amounts than large ones! You can travel back in time. Will you go back (1) 10 years OR (2) 25 years.
Ten years would be perfect for me. I had just divorced my first husband after a long-term marriage and for the first time, I was able to be my fun, independent self. I’ve had a blast the last ten years and hope it continues many more!!
It’s always a good idea to be true to yourself! The most important event in the past century was (1) the moon landing OR (2) the Berlin Wall coming down.
Oh, I’m glad you asked this question. I have family in Poland, yet I had never met them in person. One year after the Berlin Wall came down, I invited my cousin’s two teenage boys to visit us for a month. They were the same ages as my children and it was their first time on a plane, first time in the U.S. because of the Wall. It was a wonderful month and we’ve remained very close to them ever since.
I bet they had the time of their lives! What provides more inspiration to you: (1) art OR (2) nature?
Well, this one is very hard. My dad was a painter and sculptor and I spent most of my childhood visiting art galleries. I have an abundance of his artwork in my home, and a great appreciation for art. So, I should say art, shouldn’t I? But my answer is nature, for there is nothing more beautiful, naturally, than every aspect of nature and it always put me at peace.
It was hard for a good reason! Thanks for participating, Gail!
